These are the S&P 500 companies that have raised their dividend for at least 25 consecutive years, ranked by the length of the streak. The criteria match the core rule of the S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats index, but this is not the official index: S&P Dow Jones Indices also applies size and liquidity rules and can count a company's history before a spin-off, so the two lists overlap closely without being identical. FinSpry counts streaks from the dividend history it holds, which for most companies begins between the 1970s and the 1980s, so payers with very long records can show a shorter streak than their full history.
